MatiCat ($MCAT) launched a week ago on Quickswap. Itās now time to share with you what are our plans for the short and mid-term. We hope you will be as excited as us š„

The project is only one week old and, letās be honest, the launch could have been better as $MCAT almost immediately faced the recent Bitcoin crash.
Despite those events, weāve been working hard to close deals with influencers and work on the future products we want to release. Weāve said it before, we are here for the long run and we know quality influencers will bring the exposure MatiCat deserves. You may have noticed in the Telegram that we are currently working with a tier 1 influencer to launch an omni-canal marketing push that would give MatiCat huge exposure in the crypto-sphere. As you know, negotiation takes time and influencers want to coordinate their actions to avoid flogging a dead horse.
This is why we want, at this stage of the project, to leverage on other options and put effort into both product and marketing plans to gain the momentum we all need. Many community members have shared ideas, thanks again for your honesty.
Here are the options we want to explore. We hope youāll give us feedback and, as a community, will actively contribute to the decision.
What will come in the next 10 days
On the product side: giving more utility to the token
Most of the time, Meme Coins donāt have any utility. After all, they are just memes. Our team is used to create delightful products and experiences outside of crypto. We believe we can create a product that will give utility to the $MCAT token while bringing a lot of new investors and eyes on the project
Here is a quick description of the product we are currently iterating on, your feedback will be valuable.
MatiCat Meme-Contest platform:
Meme Contest are very popular in Crypto, they are a great way to stimulate communities and get exposure but organizing one takes time, energy and you face many problems like bots, fake accounts, etc. Filtering through the submissions is a pain in the ass on Twitter, payment need to be made manually, etc.
Our solution:
An easy-to-use Meme-Contest platform allowing anyone to create a Meme Contest. In a few clicks, anyone could set up a Meme Contest by selecting the prize, the duration, the rules etc.
- Community will be able to vote directly on the platform.
- People would be able to see all the ongoing Meme Contest by visiting the platform.
- In order to create or vote, people would need to hold a minimum of $MCAT in their wallet, creating an incentive to buy and hold $MCAT.
- A percentage of each prize pool would be allocated and distributed to $MCAT holders at the end of each Meme Contest.
Meme duel platform
Launch a platform on which $MCAT holders could participate in Memecoinās fights. Every week, a new Memecoin (from any blockchain) would be chosen as a target. During the contest period, every $MCAT holder could pay a small $MCAT fee to submit his own meme to the community votes. At the end of the tournament, the 3 $MCAT holders with the most votes would win a prize, paid in defeated projectās token (financed by $MCAT participants fee and $MCAT contest pool).
Participating in Meme duels would become a fun way to have a social experience on the app while creating an investment portfolio diversified across multiple Meme coins.

We are sure that our community will challenge those ideas and help us define the most appropriate concept to give value to the token. As you may know, one of the teamās biggest strengths is product design so you can be sure that the outcome will blow you away.
This an opportunity to become much more than a Meme token and be able to push updates on a regular basis, attract a broader kind of investors, and stands out amongst all the existing meme coins.
On the marketing side: incentivize people to buy $MCAT on the short-term
Here are a few ideas we are currently exploring to start marketing actions as soon as possible. Our main goal here will be to increase the number of $MCAT holders and the amount of fresh money flowing into MatiCat.
- Airdrop: launch Airdrops of $MCAT or NFTs, accessible only to $MCAT holders. We already have identified a few potential partners to make sure we have an efficient reach when launching the Airdrop.
- Meme Contest: launch another Meme contest āBattle Editionā on Twitter, against a very popular coin from another blockchain (as BSC for example). It could give MatiCat nice visibility to a broader audience of investors than $SRAT did. This time, people would have to hold a minimum of $MCAT to participate.The prize pool would be split as so: 50% for the winner, 30% for silver medal, 20% for bronze.
Once again, being so early in a project is a huge opportunity for investors. Low market cap can explode very quickly. In crypto, the hype is always quite close. Looking at other projects, it seems easy to reach a million dollar market capitalization in the short-term. We need to coordinate marketing and product action to reveal the full potentiel of the project. $1M mc is 25x from our current price and letās be honest with what we have in store, we will definitely reach it sooner than later.
